Our CEO

 

Ken Lai is a passionate leader who is committed to empowering others to build successful careers in the game and animation industry and grow the industry in Asia. What first started as his personal vision has now been expressed through his extensive work as the CEO of Brandoville Studios, leading the Triple-A Games Art and Animation industry in Indonesia.

 

Ken Lai studied at Vancouver Film School and the University of Toronto in Canada. Following his graduation, Ken Lai launched his career at EA Sports Canada in 2004, where he developed games for more than 7 years as the Lead Artist, producing high-profile games like FIFA, Medal of Honor, Fight Night Champion, NBA Live, and later working as the Technical Artist for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. In 2011, Ken Lai began his journey in Southeast Asia as a former shareholder of Lemon Sky Studios in Malaysia.

 

In 2018, Lemon Sky Studios’ shareholders set up Brandoville Lemon Sky with a local Indonesian partner. In March of 2020, Brandoville became independent and changed names to Brandoville Studios.

 

In 2020, seeing the potential that Indonesia has to offer, Ken Lai and the influential local power-plant business partner aimed to help industry in Indonesia and created Brandoville Academy as a way to train artist achieve the highest quality of skills.
